The pandemic has birthed an interesting selection of trendy wearables to combat the virus from stylish masks and face shields to more recently – a “vaccine friendly” blouse.
The idea came after Perak native, Nadhiratul Husna Abdul Hari tweeted some pictures last Friday (4 June) of a blouse she designed for her mother to wear to her vaccination. In one of the pictures was a text from her mother explaining how she wanted a top without having to roll her sleeves.
I thought about it and decided to sew a zipper on one of the sleeves so that she can easily unzip the sleeves before getting vaccinated without having to roll her sleeves.Nadhiratul Husna Abdul Hari to the Malay Mail
Her functional fashion statement has since gone viral inspiring Nadhiratul to start her own business after people started asking her for orders.

The blouses are priced at RM65 with a booking date of at least 1 week before the date of your vaccination appointment. The design comes with 30 different colours to choose from with hidden zips on both sleeves.
According to a posting on her Instagram page, special made orders have been commissioned up to size 4XL with the option to have a zip in the front for breastfeeding mothers.
Slots are limited and priority goes to those with nearby vaccination dates.
