Lotus’s Malaysia Is Looking For 200 New Recruits For Its Selangor Operations

Lotus’s Stores Malaysia, formerly known as Tesco, is looking to recruit 200 new local talents for its Distribution Center (DC) in Bukit Beruntung, Selangor.

According to the company, both its DCs in Bukit Beruntung and Simpang Pulai, Perak have been fully managed and operated by Malaysians since November 2020 to comply with the government’s call to create employment opportunities for locals.

As Lotus’s employee, workers will enjoy benefits such as a yearly bonus, insurance, Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Social Security Organization (SOCSO) contributions.

Lotus’s also welcomes women to work at its DCs.

Lotus’s claims that currently, over 30% of its female workers operate heavy machinery and do stuff like drive forklifts – a significant change from its 2020 workforce that was made up of men.

200 permanent job positions are available for the taking.

Job applications are open for all Malaysians aged 18 to 50-years-old with a minimum education level of Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) or Penilaian Tingkatan 3 (PT3) and are willing to work five-day-a-week shifts.
