CMCO Continues Until 14 April, No More 30% WFH Directive
Interstate travel still not allowed except for between RMCO areas via registered tourism agencies.

The government announced today that the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) has been extended for six states and territories while 10 more are under Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).
These 6 areas are under CMCO:
- Selangor
- Kuala Lumpur
- Johor
- Pulau Pinang
- Kelantan
- Sarawak

Ten other areas remain under RMCO:
- Perlis
- Kedah
- Perak
- Putrajaya
- Malacca
- Negeri Sembilan
- Terengganu
- Pahang
- Sabah
- Labuan

Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in today’s briefing said the above comes into effect starting 1 April till 14 April 2021, except Sarawak which starts today (30 March) and ends on 12 April.
Interstate still not allowed other than between RMCO areas using tourism agencies.
Only maids with permits and visas who went back for holiday and then could not return to Malaysia are allowed to come back, but must apply via MyTravelPass.
Work From Home – 30% rule for management no longer applies
The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has decided to allow 100% of employees to be back physically at workplaces in CMCO areas beginning 1st April 2021.
This means that the previous directive of only 30% of management staff allowed at the workplace no longer applies.
