Sometimes, all you need in life is a room full of pink flowers to escape to for a couple of hours.
Which is why we’re loving this brand new restaurant in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur that’s literally blossoming at every inch.
This Instagrammable/Tik Tok-able garden fantasy is known as Mary Jane KL, and has since bloomed into quite the popular spot since opening its doors in March 2021.
Very much a romantic paradise, Mary Jane KL aims to be a lovers’ hideaway while giving a decadent cafe experience with a feast for the eyes as well- and they certainly rose to the occasion.

Pastel pink furniture adorn the space while pink roses cascade from the ceiling and festooned across the cosy booths to form a stunning floral cocoon.

The menu is equally delightful with both sweet and savory options.
There’s lovely fluffy pancakes and sweet nibbles of macarons for those with a sweet tooth.

For heartier meals, the menu offers a mix of Malaysian and Western meals, including the ubiquitous nasi lemak, beef stew, wagyu beef burgers, pan-seared sea bass.
Their speciality mocktails are also a treat for the eyes and palate with refreshing options of Peach Garden, Passion Lover and Mata Kuching.
The bar on the first floor is another fauna fervour, but with a tropical touch as leafy green plants surround the room.
