Students returning to school on 1 March who have yet to buy their uniforms can still attend school in normal clothes until the first mid-semester break.

This is according to a Twitter post by the Education Ministry (KPM) in response to questions posed by parents.

KPM said that taking into account the current situation, students who have yet to buy their uniforms can wear other clothes that are appropriate, tidy and modest.

“This allowance is given starting 1 March until 26 March 2021, that is until the first mid-semester break for 2021.

“KPM hopes that this allowance will mean that all students can return to school for face-to-face learning,” read the tweet.
