Covid-19 New High With 5,728 New Cases Nationwide, 3 More Than Yesterday

Malaysian Covid-19 cases recorded 5,728 new cases today (30 Jan).
This is the highest recorded daily infection in the country since yesterday when 5,725 new cases were reported.
There were also 13 more deaths and 3,805 recoveries as well as 319 patients being treated in ICU and 120 on ventilators.
Most cases were reported in Selangor (3,285), Johor (792), K. Lumpur (480), and Sabah (263), while other states in the country recorded less than 200 cases, except for Perlis which had none.
This brings the nation’s Covid-19 numbers to 209,661 total infections, 47,388 active cases, 161,527 recovered patients and 746 fatalities.
