Malaysia’s daily Covid19 cases reached an all time high again today (7 January 2021) with 3,021 new cases, only 6 of which were imported.
Today is also the first time new cases surpassed 3,000.
This is the second day in a row that numbers broke previous records as yesterday there were 2,593 new cases, 4 of which were imported.
There were also 8 more deaths reported today, along with 2,145 recoveries.
This means that as of today the total number of cases to 128,465, total deaths to 521, and total recoveries to 102,723.

Johor had the most new active cases with 1,103, followed by Selangor with 706, Sabah with 493, Kuala Lumpur with 316 and Pulau Pinang with 111.
Other states had less than 100 new cases except for Perlis which had none.
