Covid-19: All-Time High Today (Dec 10) With 2,234 Cases

Malaysia recorded 2,234 daily Covid-19 cases today, 10 December, the highest since the pandemic hit the country in January.
Selangor recorded the highest number of new cases today with 1,428 cases – most of which are from Seruling Cluster (842 cases) and Hentian Cluster (315 cases).
Sabah comes in second with 274 cases, followed by Perak with 115 cases.
Seruling cluster in Selangor was detected on 8 December and involved three districts – Klang, Hulu Selangor and Petaling. The index case tested positive for Covid-19 through workplace screening on 4th December.
Hentian Cluster was officially announced on 19 October in Hulu Langat, Selangor. The index case tested positive on 15 October and has since spread to Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Negeri Sembilan.
The Health Ministry (MOH) also revealed that three more deaths were recorded today, along with 5 new clusters detected.
Currently, Malaysia has 11,867 active infections and 396 lives lost to the coronavirus.
