JB Driver With ENTIRE Banana Tree In Car Stopped By Police, Turns Out He Already Had 18 Summons & 4 Arrest Warrants

A Toyota Vios was captured on video travelling on Jalan Persiaran Utama, Mutiara Rini, Skudai in Johor Bahru with a whole fully-grown banana tree sticking out of its window.
The banana tree was so large that it fully obstructed the lane next to the car, with the huge leaves dragging on the road.
Traffic police had slapped him with a traffic summons for carrying a load with an improper vehicle, issued under LN 166/59 Rule 20.
As it turns out, the 30-year-old local driver is not the owner of the vehicle, but he had 18 traffic summonses, included four arrest warrants and 10 non-compoundable summonses.
The driver has been taken to the Johor Bahru Magistrate’s Court to settle just six of the outstanding summonses amounting to RM1,200.
Additionally, the car’s road tax had expired, so the Toyota Vios has been confiscated under Section 64 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
The 30-year-old driver is the cousin of the actual owner of the Toyota Vios, who is currently based in Singapore. According to the owner’s son, the cousin had driven the car and carried the banana tree for a prayer ceremony in that area.
