The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya has been extended for two more weeks to 9 November.

According to Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the CMCO was supposed to end tomorrow on 27 October.

However, an assessment by authorities found that there are still localities across the Klang Valley that are high risk areas for the further transmission of the virus.

These findings have forced the government to extend the CMCO for two more weeks in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.

The standard operating procedures (SOP) for the next two weeks will remain the same.
