Our very own Gamuda Bhd has made it onto the Top 50 of Forbes’ Best Employer 2020 list, the only Southeast Asia-based company to do so!

The list is based on employee feedback on the company’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the company’s image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility.

Over 160,000 full-time and part-time workers from 58 countries working for multinational companies were surveyed to create this ranking.

Gamuda Bhd comes in as the only Southeast-Asian representative, ranking at #44 out of the Top 50!

Gamuda is one of Malaysia’s largest construction companies with projects both locally and overseas. Additionally, they also have businesses in oil and gas operations, as well as in mining and chemicals.

Within the Top 50 Best Employers, the list is mostly dominated by companies from the United States and Europe. However, a good number of Asia-based companies made the list too, in countries like South Korea, Japan, India, China, and even Saudi Arabia.

The #1 best employer of 2020 is Samsung Electronics from South Korea, followed by Amazon and IBM, both from the United States.
