6 Years Jail-Time & RM8,000 Fine For Driver Who Killed Navy Officer In Drug-Fuelled Car Accident

The driver involved in a horrifying car accident that resulted in the death of a 31-year-old Navy officer has been sentenced to 6 years in jail and a RM8,000 fine.
Nur Fatin Nazrah Suhaimi, 23, was found guilty of driving while under the influence of drugs. The victim was 31-year-old Laskar Kanan Mohd Rizal Buseri, a senior officer with the Royal Malaysian Navy.
She was brought to court in a wheelchair accompanied by traffic police.
She also has to pay a fine of RM2,800 for three other offenses: not having a driving license, driving a car without road tax, and without insurance. She will be disqualified from holding and renewing her driving license for five years.
