Subang Airport Mosque Closed Due To Covid-19, Congregation Advised To Get Tested

All religious activities and congregational prayers at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Airport Mosque are suspended from October 8, 2020, onward due to Covid-19 concerns.

It was reported that a member of the Friday prayer congregation on October 2 was confirmed positive for the coronavirus. A total of 1,310 people were part of the congregation on that day.

The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) advise everyone who attended the prayer session to immediately get tested if they possess symptoms and to isolate themselves at home.

As of October 9, Malaysia records a total of 14,722 confirmed cases and 152 fatalities from Covid-19.
