US President Donald Trump & First Lady Tested Positive For Covid-19

United States (US) President Donald Trump was confirmed positive for Covid-19.

The President tweeted that he and the First Lady, Melania Trump, had tested positive for the coronavirus and are now recovering.

The news comes after Trump previously mentioned that he and his wife would be placed under quarantine after one of his advisors, Hope Hicks, was found to be infected.

Trump and his team had reportedly been travelling across the US to campaign for the country’s upcoming elections on November 3, 2020.

The US remains the epicentre of the Covid-19 pandemic, reporting more than 7 million confirmed cases and over 200,000 deaths.
