Former Chief of Justice, Richard Malanjum has lent his support to the Warisan government, urging Sabahans to retain the present state government.
In a video that surfaced online recently, Richard questioned the Opposition’s intentions for taking over the state, as they didn’t carry out their responsibilities during their rule over Sabah which spans across 5 decades.
Look at their records, they have governed us for the past 55 years or so, what have they come up with? If one is to go not that far, to Pitas, or for the matter, upper Moyog nearby, one will see, things haven’t changed that much, particularly in the northern region of Sabah, northern region, Pitas area. They are still as poor as they were before.

He added that Sabahans shouldn’t be easily swayed by the Opposition when during their campaign rallies, mentioning that they are nothing more than “puppets“ for those in power in the Peninsular.
Why are we taking back an old horse who has governed us, as I said, for 55 years and literally did little for Sabah?
