Students from SJKT Ladang Ebor, Subang Jaya recently bagged three medals at the Virtual Invention, Innovation and Design Pharm-IIDEx 2020 competition for their creative solutions for staying safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Twelve-year-olds, Keertikaa Jega Jeevan, Janany Vikneswaran, Gautam Reddy Chandran and Prathees Selvam named the mask the “Super Shield Mask”, and designed the mask with changeable filters that have herbal patches derived from natural ingredients, like ginger and turmeric.

The school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) president Jega Jeevan Elumalai said that their student’s success was a product of their hard work, perseverance and guidance from their science teachers.

This is the second time our students have participated in this competition. Previously, we managed to win only one award. But this year, we are so proud to see our students bring home three awards.
