The Mid-Autumn Festival is nearly upon us, falling on the 1st of October this year. With the new normal of social distancing, many families are looking to celebrate with special occasion with mooncakes and good cheer, even if they can’t do it together.
This year’s exclusive mooncake set from Starbucks features four bold flavours housed in a beautiful traditionally-inspired Starbucks Mooncake Tiffin Carrier, fashioned after the ‘porcelain tingkat’ carriers used by local Peranakan communities.
The mooncakes are not traditional by any means, but it promises to delight everyone, young and old.
This year, they have included new flavours such as the chocolate lava mooncake and mocha lava mooncake.
Returning favourites include flavours such as tiramisu mooncake and green tea key lime mooncake.
The mooncake and tiffin set are already available for purchase at RM138 in all Starbucks stores, together with all their new tumbler designs for the Mid-Autumn festival that features adorable white bunnies and the full moon.
