100 New Covid-19 Cases In Single Day, Breaking Record Since June 4

The Ministry of Health has announced that there are 100 new active cases of Covid-19. This is the highest single-day increase in new Covid-19 cases since June 4.
Of the 100, 85 are local transmissions, while 15 are imported cases.
Of the 85 local transmissions, 62 were spread from the Lahad Datu cluster, while the remainder 23 were spread from the Sungai cluster.
Sabah is again the state with the highest number of new cases at 62 cases. However, Kedah has seen a marked increase as well at 22 new cases.

The Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also noted in a press conference today that the R0 infection rate is now at 1.72, surpassing the critical point of a R0 at 1.6.
We want to keep R0 below 0.3. If it increases to 1.6, it means we are in dangerous territory and could see an exponential surge of cases.
