Intrigued by the viral mural, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah paid a visit to Taman Cahaya Alam, Section U12 to see the artwork for themselves.

Their arrival at 3pm yesterday (10 July) was greeted by the artists of the giant mural, Muhammad Suhaimi Ali, Abdul Hadi Ramli, and Muhamad Firdaus Nordin.

Also accompanying His Majesty were the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and their children Tengku Puteri Iman Afzan, Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah and Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafizatullah.

Dr Noor Hisham also shared a picture of himself with the mural, saying that he really appreciated local brilliant and talented artists.

Twitter users couldn’t help but respond to his post saying how cool he looked in his sunglasses and tasteful batik shirt.

Speaking of the Agong’s visit, Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said it was an initiative of his Majesty himself, who is very concerned about the country’s youth.

During the 1 hours and 30 minutes visit, his Majesty also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the artists who painted the mural, praising them for expressing their respect towards the leaders who have worked hard for the country.
