Spotify Premium Duo Plan For Couples, Roommates & Housemates Now Available In Malaysia

That’s right music fans, Spotify is making it easier for two people, like couples, BFFs, or roommates to share one subscription plan for just RM19.80 per month.
Unlike Spotify’s RM14.90 individual Premium account which only allows for one account user at a time.
Premium Duo provides a more personal space for music lovers by only allowing two people who share the same address details to have their own separate premium accounts at a slightly cheaper price than the Spotify Premium Family plan, which allows for up to six accounts to be under one subscription at RM22.40.
The Duo account comes with all the added benefits of Spotify’s paid services like listening to music without ads, on-demand playback, and song downloads for offline play, as well as access to specially mixed playlists, called the “Duo Mix” which combines the music that you and your partner listen to according to into a range of unique playlists depending on your tastes and preferences.
Additionally, people who are already subscribed to an individual Premium account can simply choose to upgrade to a Duo subscription without having to lose any of their saved tracks and playlists.
However, our checks found that for existing users, the cost for an upgrade might be different from the original offered price for the Duo subscription, so you may want to go over it carefully before making your decision.
