Body temperature checks need to be conducted only once at shopping mall entrances, according to Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

However, he said, visitors would still need to record their particulars in every shop they enter to ensure that contact tracing can be done.

Visitors still need to fill in their name and telephone number either manually or via MySejahtera for contact tracing purposes.

Ismail Sabri also said this applies to hotels as well.

It’ll be the same for hotels as inside these places there will be restaurants, gift shops and such. Once they’ve taken their temperature at the entrance, they don’t need to do it again.
