Fans of Mexican food will not have much longer to wait for the legendary Taco Bell to open its doors in Malaysia.

According to a post made by the Tropicana Garden Mall, the country’s first ever Taco Bell will be opening soon at the new mall, which is directly connected to the Surian MRT station and across the street from the Sunway Nexis building in Kota Damansara.

Taco Bell enjoys wide popularity in American media as a beloved fast food chain for delicious Mexican food such as burritos, nachos, and tacos. Due to how accessible the chain it, it’s become synonymous with late night suppers, guilty pleasures, and budget-friendly.

There’s no denying that Taco Bell is going to be a great addition to Malaysia’s fast food dining scene. As of now, we can only speculate on their menu, but it’s likely that we’ll see fan favourites like their soft- and hard-shelled tacos (self-explanatory), their burritos (fillings in a soft tortilla wrap), and their Crunchwraps (fillings in hard-shelled tacos and wrapped again in a soft-shell tortilla wrap, like some kind of Mexican-esque burger).

Soon, Malaysians will get a taste of the iconic Taco Bell hot sauce (which is, incidentally, not hot at all) to go with the delightfully Americanised Mexican food. We can’t wait!
