Got a bunch of traffic summons you really need to settle soon? The Royal Malaysian police have announced that they are having discounts up to 50% for selected traffic summonses.

According to a statement posted on their official Facebook page by the Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department, the discounts will be available for four days starting Monday 18 May until 21 May 2020.

Those who would like to take this opportunity to settle their summons can enjoy the discounts through payments made on online public services application MyEG and Rilek portals.

If you aren’t the tech-savvy kind and much prefer paying your summons in person, the police will also be setting up service counters for the public to settle their traffic summons and pick up their road traffic accident documentation.

These counters will be set up in phases starting Monday 18 May as well, at all district police stations and contingents as listed in the Facebook post. Those who wish to use these service counters should take note of the standard operating procedures (SOP) stated.
