Despite the current Movement Control Order (MCO) interstate and international travel restrictions, Malaysian budget carrier AirAsia is offering free domestic flights to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) frontliners.
Teaming up with Malaysia-based hospitality brand owners Ormond Group, the two companies are giving HKL staff a chance to travel for free within Peninsular Malaysia and enjoy free hotel accommodations as a thank you for their efforts during the Covid-19 crisis.
In the spirit of #InThisTogether, we are proud to join forces with the Ormond Group and extend a complimentary flight to a selected domestic destination in Peninsular Malaysia to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur frontline workers. All of them have been the country’s heroes throughout this pandemic outbreak, and this is just our small way of saying thank you.

Though details are scarce, HKL frontliners are said to receive a complimentary one-night stay at the group’s flagship property, The Chow Kit, located on Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur (KL).
Owning a number of hospitality brands such as the MoMo’s KL and the Tune Hotels, the group says it’ll also be offering a 30% discount for a stay at any of the group’s hotels to all Malaysian healthcare workers, police and Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) tasked at handling the pandemic
We owe them a debt of gratitude; this is only a small gesture to show our appreciation.
