Social distancing means adopting a new normal, and that even applies to the Malaysian Judiciary body who’ve been conducting online court hearings for specific cases.

But the body is taking things one level up by implementing an online livestream of court cases – a first in Malaysian history.

In a press release, the Malaysian Judiciary stated that this pilot project is done to complement and support the hearing of online cases as well a sign of confirmation that the justice system still continues.

The public can now watch live hearing of cases in the Open Court on their digital devices beginning tomorrow, 23rd April at 10am with a Court of Appeal case hearing.

So if you’ve ever wanted to witness high profile case hearings, the opportunity could come soon!

You can watch the livestream on the Official Portal of the Malaysian Judiciary’s website (HERE).
