Barbers, Hair Stylists, Optometrists To Stay Closed During MCO Phase 3

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has decided that barbers, stylists, optical shops, and Ramadhan bazaars are not allowed operate during the Movement Control Order (MCO).

The decision was relayed by Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob during his daily update address today.

Ismail Sabri the decision would apply nation-wide and should put to rest any questions regarding the matter.

This new development partially overturns an earlier announcement by Senior Minister (International Trade and Industry) Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Azmin had said that barbers and optical ships could open, but barbers could only cut hair.
