10 Malaysians Among New Covid-19 Cases In Singapore

10 Malaysians were among the 233 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, according to the country’s Health Ministry.

A Malaysian man (25) was linked to a McDonald’s restaurant while three Malaysians were specified under unlinked cases.

The fast food franchise in Singapore reported that 5 of its employees were tested positive for Covid-19.

They are from 4 different outlets, 2 at McDonald’s LIDO and one each at Forum Galleria, Parklane and Geylang East Central.

The other employees who worked at the affected branches instructed to isolate themselves and take a 14-day leave of absence.

Five cases were linked to case 2215, a Singaporean aged 41 years old and another case linked to a 48-year-old Bangladeshi.

As of April, the island republic has recorded 2,532 cases with 8 deaths and country has identified 28,140 close contacts who have been quarantined.
