Covid-19: 208 New Cases And 5 More Deaths

As of 12pm today, the Health Ministry confirms 208 new Covid-19 cases in the country, bringing the new total cases to 3,116.

At the moment, there are 105 patients being treated in the ICU, and 54 of whom require ventilators.

Meanwhile, the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) has announced that another five new deaths have been recorded. Which means that the new total number of deaths to Covid-19 in Malaysia is 50 (1.6% of total cases).

The five new deaths were all Malaysian males between 37 and 85 years old. Three of them were in Johor, one in Sarawak and one in Negeri Sembilan.

The Health Ministry also confirmed that another 122 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospitals. This brings the total number of recovered cases to 767 (24.6% of total cases).
