After losing 889 lives to the Covid-19 disease yesterday, Italy recorded a latest death toll of 10,023. The number of confirmed cases has also increased to 92,472 nationwide.

However, officials from the country’s National Health Institute warned that the virus has not peaked yet.

There are signs of a slowdown, which makes us believe that we are close, we could peak in the next few days.

It is also reported that 1,434 patients have recovered from the disease, which gives Italy a total of 12,384 recovered cases.

The Italian national flag will be flown at half-mast across the country on 31 March 2020, in memory of those who have lost their lives to the disease.
