FOMO no longer: 0% alcohol beer launched by Heineken
To all the non-alcohol drinkers: congrats, you no longer have to struggle between your fear of missing out and your personal principles.
Heineken Malaysia has launched its first non-alcoholic beer malt beverage yesterday.
The Heineken 0.0 is brewed from scratch to maintain the best taste while staying alcohol-free.
Some are happy to try it out, but for many alcoholics people who drink alcohol, it’s a rather confusing new product.
I just spotted an ad for Heineken with zero percent alcohol and my immediate reaction was, “What’s the fucking point of that shit?†People drink beer purely for the taste? When did that become a thing?

@Heineken made a beer with less (zero) alcohol than their standard. Literally the exact opposite approach everyone was hoping for.

Evidently, the new product is targeted at those who traditionally avoid alcoholic drinks in the first place. Shocking as it may be to most, there actually are people who prefer to stay sober.
At least now with the 0% alcohol beer, the sober party won’t be feeling left out at parties and the like!
