Initially, Madam Saleha Abdullah started as a helper in her late mother’s nasi lemak stall.

Then later, with the support of her husband and a small starting capital of RM3,000, she expanded her business.

She now has 2 shops, one near Lebuhraya MRR2 and this one in Sri Rampai

Saleha started her business with only 1 kilogram of rice and did not inject any more capital into her business.

Instead, she relied on her children who helped her out despite the tight budget.

Slowly, her business grew to owning lorries for nasi lemak delivery and having 60 of her own staff.

The secret to her success lies in never cutting corners on ingredients thus consistently keeping the fine quality of the food served.

Nasi Lemak Saleha now has its own building in Sri Rampai. With her children as her successors. Among them, her son who was formerly a doctor.
