While doctors deal with thousands of diseases and hundreds of drugs, we basically know the more common diseases and drugs off the top of our heads.
Which is why any doctor or pharmacist can tell you this next scribble is for paracetamol.

It helps us to narrow things down.
However, the internet is just now finding out that pretty much any doctor or pharmacist can do this.
As a full-fledged doctor myself, I have to apologise for our so called ugly handwriting or cakar ayams, and no, there’s no course on shorthand.
Regardless, I have met fellow doctors with great handwriting too, and truly they do exist. Believe me. Please.
