KUALA LUMPUR, 22 April 2017:
KTM Bhd (KTMB) has upgraded its e-Tiket system to further improve its delivery system.
KTMB said in a statement it had activated its automatic refund system since yesterday to overcome the problem of late refunds to customers
Under the automatic system, customers can get refunds within a day as compared to 14 or more days previously.
Apart from these, KTMB has increased its ticketing machines by 47 units since April 3 and upgraded its servers to 50Mbps capacity to handle online transactions more efficiently.
Its e-mail and short-messaging facilities were also being upgraded and official website and online booking systems being redesigned to be more customer-friendly, the statement added.
Not only all these, its Twitter and Facebook sites are also being streamlined while staff have been added at its Customer Service Unit to serve customers better.
