PETALING JAYA, Feb 2, 2016:
Six teenagers were arrested in Petaling Jaya yesterday for bullying two school students into licking their spit.
On Sunday, a video uploaded on social media by We Fully Support Pakatan Harapan went viral with netizens condemning the action of several teenagers who bullied two male students at a residential alley.
In the 34-second video, one student was ordered to kneel down and it is believed he licked his own spit before thanking the group of teenagers and left.
Meanwhile, another victim was ordered to do the same.
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said they were conducting investigations after a 14-year-old victim made a police report.
Following that, six boys, aged 18 to 20, were arrested in the Petaling Jaya area yesterday.
“The incident took place in the Sea Park area.
“The victim was said to have been forced to bark like a dog and lick the road,” he said when contacted.
Mohd Zani said all suspects were remanded for three days beginning today and that the case was being investigated under Section 324 and 358 of the Penal Code.
