KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29, 2016:
Tan Sri Annuar Musa today was announced as the Umno information chief to replace Datuk Ahmad Maslan.
The matter was announced by Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak after chairing the party’s Supreme Council meeting at its headquarters, here.
“I have announced several reshuffles in the structure of the Supreme Council, Ahmad Maslan has been reassigned to head the I.T bureau while Annuar Musa replaces his post.
“Datuk Azeez Rahim will be heading the electoral and membership bureau, replacing Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal. The economy bureau will be headed by Datuk Johari Ghani, Foreign students bureau by Datuk Reezal Merican, private institution bureau Datuk Razali Ibrahim and the Welfare bureau by Datuk Shamsul Anuar Nasarah,” he said.
Additionally, Najib said the Supreme Council meeting also took into account the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) that was recently passed in Parliament recently.
“The Supreme Council hoped that the matters discussed, raised and highlighted during the debate session are given due attention from the standpoint of its implementation.
“After the ratification, hopefully the TPPA implementation will not beget complications and issues especially in increasing the capabilities of Malaysian companies,” he added.
