MALAYSIA is in for a night of awesome comedy show with Stand-up for Education 2.0 featuring one of Asia’s top stand up comedian Harith Iskander.
The Malaysian comedian will be joined by other great names on Jan 30 and the surplus proceeds from this event would be channelled towards education programmes for needy and deserving young Malaysian, orphans and underprivileged children championed by the AMMA (All Malaysia Malayalee Association) Foundation.
Among the other performers of the night are Paul Ogata (USA), Vivek Mahbubani (Hong Kong), Kavin Jay (Malaysia), Rizal Van Geyzel (Malaysia), Dan Nainan (USA) and the show will be hosted by Chacko, a BFM newscaster and Hollywood actor.
AMMA Foundation funds the Right to Learn project for orphans and under privileged students with free tuition classes and leadership programmes.
AMMA was set-up to foster goodwill and cater to the social, cultural and educational growth of the community, irrespective of race, creed or religion. The AMMA Foundation, which Is the education arm of AMMA, is an independent tax-exempt status Company aimed at providing monetary assistance, scholarships, grants, community outreach as well as networking opportunities to needy young Malaysians and assist them to become self-sufficient individuals and future leaders.
Ticket price for the show that will take place at HGH Convention Centre, Jalan Sentul, starts at RM99 followed by RM149 and RM249 while VVIP tickets are also available. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketpro.com.my
