KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 19, 2016:
Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Datuk Hasan Arifin said Tan Sri Mohd Bakke Salleh, who was former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) chairman for two months, might be called in as part of the committee’s inquiry into the national sovereign fund.
He said this would depend on the outcome of proceedings involving 1MDB chairman, Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin, which PAC would be wrapping up by tomorrow.
“We are trying to wrap things up, the proceedings will continue tomorrow with Lodin again.
“Many detailed matters need to be looked into as Lodin was chairman for quite some time, about five years now.
“We have not even gone through half of the things that need to be looked into,” he told reporters at the Parliament today.
“After we have wrapped things up with Lodin, we will decide if there is a need to call others,” he said, adding that Lodin had given good cooperation during the proceedings.
