KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 16, 2016:
PAS will not hesitate to end its political cooperation with PKR if the latter followed in the footsteps of DAP, said PAS Dewan Ulama Communications chief Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali.
“PAS’ principle is that it does not cooperate with traitors, even though PKR has an agreement with Amanah and DAP, we will view this from time to time.
“(The actions of) PKR celebrating Amanah’s programmes that attack PAS’ areas is akin to sabotaging PAS. We cannot be friends with those who are friends to our enemies,” he was quoted in local daily Sinar Harian as saying.
He said this during a press conference after attending an entrepreneurial convention in Putrajaya today.
Mohd Khairuddin was responding to PKR Women’s chief Zuraida Kamaruddin’s statement that PKR would cooperate with DAP and PAS in facing the next general election, especially in Selangor, the daily reported.
Mohd Khairuddin also said PAS did not want to be used by PKR as how it was used by DAP in winning seats in the previous elections.
“PKR wants to use our machinery for the elections, but after the polls, it would use us, but not for Islamic principles,” he said.
