KUALA LUMPUR Jan 12, 2016:

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today visited PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang who is currently warded at the National Heart Institute (IJN) today.

A posting on Twitter of the Prime Minister’s Office showed a photograph of Najib standing at Abdul Hadi’s bedside which was taken after he had visited his former communications officer Datuk Nasir Safar, who has been receiving treatment at the hospital.

Nasir was formerly Pulai Sebatang Assemblyman and had been Tanjung Piai Umno deputy chief.

“I was informed that Hadi was also in IJN and stopped by to visit him.

“I pray that he would be given the best of health by Allah,” he said.

Abdul Hadi was said to have been admitted to the institute yesterday evening to receive treatment.

In 2014, Abdul Hadi had been admitted to the same hospital after experiencing breathing complications.
