KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31, 2015:
A summary of documents relating to the investigation of Swiss citizen, Xavier Andre Justo have been provided to the Attorney-General’s Chambers pending furthe action.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the document sent by the Thailand Attorney-General’s (A-G) Department, containing conversational details and transcripts which was sent to Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown.
“All the documents that we wanted including conversational details and transcript has been delivered to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for further action,” he at an event in Bukit Aman today.
Previously on Dec 15, a police team lead by Bukit Aman CID deputy director (Investigation/Legal) Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh was tasked to obtain Justo’s statement.
Meanwhile, Khalid added that investigations of the government-owned investment fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) was still ongoing and police were waiting for reports from the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the National Audit Department .
