KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31, 2015:
“File a legal suit against me. I will be ready,” says PAS research director Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki responding to the statement and suggestion made by DAP Socialist Youth (Dapsy) to the DAP leadership in relation to the alleged Israel-DAP relations.
He said that he welcomed any form of legal action to be taken by the group as the matter is not new and had been raised by Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s former special officer Mohamed Razali Abd Rahman four years ago.
Mohd Zuhdi explained that Mohamed Razali had previously challenged the DAP leadership, especially Jelutong Member of Parliament (MP) Jeff Ooi, since the disclosure was not limited to Israel alone.
“So when I hear that Dapsy wants to file a legal suit, I welcome it as they can take legal action against Razali as well.
“So if what he had claimed was false, then there is no other way to settle the matter than in court.
“I raise this issue again as it was not given much attention four years ago.
“When the issue of Israeli athletes being denied entry came up, this matter and what was said by Razali must be brought forward,” he told reporters today.
Previously, Mohd Zuhdi said that Mohamed Razali had alleged that Israeli intelligence experts were involved to train the G17, or a group of 17 DAP strategists led by Tony Pua and Lim, who had gone back and forth to Singapore to meet with representatives of the Israel embassy.
Further allegations made were also claims that DAP had been offered US$300 million (RM1.2 billion) during the last general election and an Israel military base would be built as a reward for capturing Putrajaya.
Dapsy international secretary Howard Lee denied all the accusations contained in the statement, saying that the false accusations were crazy and absurd.
The fact that they continued to be recycled by Mohd Zuhdi simply showed that they were bankrupt of issues and ideas, he added.
