A Gujerati actor firmly believes in love, especially in the healing power of ”I love you”.
According to The Times of India, Archan Trivedi believed saying ”I love you” to more than a million people had miraculously cured him of cancer.
The 50-year-old said he always started his conversations with people, even on the phone, with the three words.
He told the Indian daily that he started this practice after he was diagnosed with blood and lung cancers sometime in the 1990s.
Refusing to go for treatment, he “found the power” of his favourite words and even though he claimed he had been cured, he continued to address people with the three words.
The Ahmedabad-based actor said: “When you say I love you to anyone with a heavenly feeling, everybody likes it.”
After he was diagnosed with cancer, the Gujarat government’s art and culture department helped him with a grant of Rs 40,000. When he recovered, he wanted to return the money, but found out there was no provision for it.
So, he donated the money to a cancer hospital in the city.
