KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10, 2015:

Over 90% of Barisan Nasional’s election pledges made during the 13th General Election has been fulfilled.

Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak, in disclosing this, however, said the people are getting restless over some major pledges that has yet to be materialise.

“We admit that there are about two or three bigger and subjective matters, such as housing for the rakyat and cost of living, that my colleague and I understand are major cause of concern among the people.

“But what’s important is that it shows that we are a government that fulfills all promises made,” he said during his speech at the PWTC, here.

He assured the rakyat that the government would continue to lighten the people’s burden through the government’s assistance programmes to ensure that all election pledges are met.

“We will continue to serve the people through our programmes namely BR1M, Klinik Rakyat 1Malaysia, Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia and affordable housing, besides providing a pay rise for civil servants.

“Above all, the most vital is for Umno to focus and ensure all our pledges are fulfilled,” he said.
