DECEMBER is upon us and before we know it 2016 will be rolling right in.
If you haven’t already done so, now’s the time to get your tickets to what promises to be the biggest and ‘messiest’ music festival for New Year’s Eve — the PaintGlow Festival (PGF).
The alcohol and drug-free event is a spectacle that combines dance, light, music and a load of UV Paint — don’t worry, these are skin-friendly, non-toxic, approved and certified water and wax based paints designed to dry quickly.
With special Tron Circus and dance performances, unlimited UV Paint splashes, this is one event where the aim is to get creative and messy.
The paint party is an evolving concept to delight partygoers with new visuals, new light shows, new acrobats, new dancers and other surprises.
This is the first time the festival is heading to Malaysia — and Asia — and is supported by Tourism Malaysia.
Aside from a line-up of exciting musical acts, there will also be a host of fun-filled activities such as sports, competitions as well as various art paintings and performances with UV paints.
For ticket purchasers there are also contests and giveaways to look forward to (check out the festival’s Facebook page for more details) before and at the event.
On the event day, quench your thirst with Evian to stand a chance to win an iPad, a vacation or movie passes, or pit your chompers against others in a frankfurter eating contest sponsored by Nathan’s.
Ice Watch will be giving away watches to lucky ticket holders while MySmartWheel will be offering free rides and discount vouchers to own one of the hottest toys of this Christmas season.
MyTeksi is also offering free unlimited discounted rides to and from the event.
Tickets are available at www.ticketpro.com.my as well as Rock Corner, Victoria Music Centre and The Guitar Store outlets.
