LONDON, Nov 24, 2015:
A married woman taught her philandering husband a painful lesson he will never forget for the rest of his life.
When Craig Arnolds, 44, from Nuneaton in the English Midlands, returned from a business trip in New York city, he found out to his shock and horror that all of the locks of his house had been changed and six students were chilling out in his lounge.
His 42-year-old wife Laura was clearly not at home and all her possessions had been moved out. Craig realised his house had been sold off by his wife who was furious with him when she discovered an incriminating message on his iPhone.
The house was sold within a fortnight, after Laura used sellhousefast.uk to dispose of the home as quickly as possible, according to a report in news.com.au.
Laura decided to get her revenge after blundering Craig forgot his iPhone 6 when he left for a business trip to America, the report added.
When the phone started flashing up with an unknown number, his suspicious wife decided to investigate. It was then that she found steamy messages from an American woman — who detailed the “hot” reception Craig could expect upon his arrival in New York.
Craig, who has now moved to London, claims he smelt a rat as soon as he arrived home.
“All the lights were on and the TV was blaring,” he said.
“I remember thinking it was really out of character for Laura to be up past 11pm. I had no idea what on earth was going on.
“At this point I was seriously freaked out, jet lagged and frantic — I started banging on the door and shouting Laura’s name — but was greeted instead by what looked like a 21-year-old hippie.
“I noticed all Laura’s furniture was gone, but the chairs and tables I’d inherited from my late father, plus my set of golf clubs and vintage radio — which Laura always hated — was sitting on the kitchen table in all its glory,” he was quoted in the report as saying.
