MODEL, actress and activist Pamela Anderson is set to launch of a collection of vegan shoes and bags with French accessories designer Amélie Pichard.
Anderson, a longtime animal rights activist known for her work with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), will take inspiration from Malibu and Saint-Tropez for the upcoming collection, reports WWD.
The 20-year vegan had been mulling over the idea of creating her own collection when she found Pichard through Instagram.
The French designer’s label can be found in high-end stores and includes a ‘Pamela’ pump inspired by actress, whom she considers one of her muses.
Seven shoes styles — including a plexiglas-heeled sandal — and a beach bag feature among the designs, which will debut at Opening Ceremony Los Angeles on December 10 with prices ranging from $490 to $950 (RM2,147 – RM4,162)
In January the collection will be made available at retailers including Colette and Ssense, and plans are also in place to show it during Paris Fashion Week.
