GLASGOW, Sep 20, 2015:Great Britain reached their first Davis Cup final since 1978 after Andy Murray beat Bernard Tomic to give them an unassailable 3-1 lead over Australia in Glasgow on Sunday. Having combined with elder brother Jamie for a thrilling five-set win over Lleyton Hewitt and Samuel Groth in Saturday’s doubles, world number three Murray finished the job with a 7-5, 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Tomic at the Emirates Arena. Britain last reached the final 37 years ago, when they lost 4-1 to the United States, but they have not won the tournament since 1936. They will play either Argentina or Belgium in the final on November 27-29.
