SAN FRANCISCO, July 29, 2015:

Anger is mounting worldwide against a Minnesota dentist who slaughtered a famous lion from Zimbabwe’s Hwange national park.

British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan joined in the universal condemnation and described in his column in Daily Mail what he would like to do to American dentist Walter Palmer

“Dr Palmer makes me puke. He’s just a smirking, vile, callous assassin with no heart.

“I will sell tickets for US$50,000 (RM190,700) to anyone who wants to come with me and track down fat, greedy, selfish, murderous businessmen like Dr Palmer in their natural habit.”

Palmer, who made headlines this week after paying US$50,000 to hunt and kill Cecil, insisted that he believed he was on a legal hunt.

A professional hunter and a farm owner face poaching charges for allegedly hunting Cecil, protected lion.

Morgan added: “We would all take a bow and fire a few arrows into his limbs to render him incapable of movement.

“Then we’d calmly walk over, skin him alive, cut his head from his neck, and took a bunch of photos of us all grinning inanely at his quivering flesh.

“Like Cecil, he’s an ageing, greying creature eeking out the last quarter of his life. He’s going to die soon enough anyway, right?”

It was reported that Palmer and his fellow hunters lured the lion out the park by dragging a dead animal behind their vehicle.

And once Cecil strayed outside his home, the hunters struck him with a bow and arrow. It took another forty painful hours before they caught up with Cecil and put him out of his misery.

According to the Independent, the dentist was reportedly wanted for questioning on suspicion of deliberately luring an animal from the park to kill it, and removing Cecil’s identifying collar, which should have protected him from being hunted.
