KUALA LUMPUR, July 25, 2015:
Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has announced that the ministry is prepared to work with the Scotland Yard to investigate Sarawak Report founder Clare Rewcastle-Brown
“If there are criminal elements perpetrated by Clare Brown, a bilateral agreement in the form of exchange of information will be coordinated between Malaysia and Britain
“As cooperation between PDRM and the Scotland Yard has long been established, this will facilitate the exchange of information further and possible extradition should it arise,” he said in a statement today.
He also said that once the investigation results were provided by the police, the ministry would be able to coordinate efforts with the British government in order to carry out further investigations.
“Depending on the results of PDRM investigations, the Home Ministry will formally work with the British government through Wisma Putra, if we can prove a ‘prima facie’ case to prosecute Clare Brown,” he added.
