JOHOR BARU, June 30, 2015:
Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim will be donating cattle to all 10 districts in Johor for breaking fast ceremonies in conjunction with his birthday celebrations.
The crown prince had also undertaken to contribute to the less fortunate in the state for his 31st birthday today.
“I would like to express my sincerest appreciation and thanks for all the wishes on the event of my birthday.
“I have decided, after receiving advice and views of my father HRH the Sultan, to donate cattle to all districts for breaking fast, and also to contribute to orphans and the less fortunate around Johor,” he said in a posting on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page, today.
Tunku Ismail was born on June 30, 1984 and married Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam in the state capital last November.
On the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page today there is a picture showing Tunku Ismail receiving a customised jet plane as his birthday gift by his father, Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
The caption in Bahasa Malaysia read: “Hadiah daripada DYMM Sultan Ibrahim, Sultan Johor kepada DYAM Brigadier Jeneral Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor sempena Hari Keputeraan Baginda yang ke-31 pada 30hb Jun 2015.”
